About the Job

Are you interested in working as a support assistant in a group home characterized by good collaboration with colleagues and a focus on the needs of the users? Then you have come to the right place!

We are looking for support assistants for Melongatan 199, which is a residence for people with various disabilities.

Your tasks include providing individually tailored support, good service, and care to those we are here for. It is important that we focus on the individual user. With us, you will meet many different people and see them develop, while you also grow as a person through these encounters. Together we make a difference, and our work is important.

The work involves varied tasks such as pedagogical support in everyday life, personal care, and common household duties. You will actively work together in the team with social documentation and follow-up on these. You will also be part of the work to ensure the quality of our operations.

About You

We are looking for someone with a degree from the Health and Care program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability area that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 higher education credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and service for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

The position also requires a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.

Experience in care work is a requirement for the position. If you also have experience working in disability support, it is an advantage.

You can change how you work when things change. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes. You take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. You think about those we are here for and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it turned out.
