The Care Administration in Tanum Municipality is now seeking a support pedagogue within LSS.

The position is permanent and full-time, based on needs distributed across administrative time, supervision, methodological support, and operational time. The disability services in Tanum Municipality are undergoing an exciting transformation process where you, as a support pedagogue, play an important and central role in both inspiring and clarifying the pedagogical approach.

We have a well-functioning network of pedagogues where you, together with five other support pedagogues and a methodological supporter, are included. Regular meetings are planned where all meet to develop the operations at an overarching level.

It is important that you are interested in development issues, and we place great emphasis on your ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practice. As an employee in Tanum Municipality, you are also offered regular professional development where you can influence based on needs and interests. In Tanum Municipality, you are offered a wellness allowance of 2500 SEK/year.

Job Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you will work with:

• Method development
• Supervising workgroups
• Establishing and updating routines and action plans
• Supporting contact persons in establishing implementation plans
• Development work
• Collaboration between different operations
• Identifying and highlighting needs

Qualifications

• You have a university education of at least 60 credits directly related to the area of operation or a vocational education as a support pedagogue, 200 YH credits. Alternatively, other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have good knowledge of LSS, both theoretically and practically.
• You have good knowledge of low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy.
• You should be able to lead, engage, and develop the pedagogical work of the workgroup together with the manager.

Based on the needs of the target group, a genuine interest in working with people in need of support is required, as well as good planning and collaboration skills. We also expect that you have good knowledge of social documentation, experience handling IT and technology. You must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing and hold a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.

Great importance is also placed on personal suitability.
