We are currently looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for our teenage client. Working hours are in the evenings and every other weekend.

The client has a physical disability and needs support in communication. We hope that you find it exciting to be part of this role, helping the youth towards independence and development. We believe that you are a creative, caring, attentive, and self-assured person. Previous experience in the assistance profession and/or working with children in need of special support is an advantage but not a requirement. The important thing is that you have the commitment and willingness to develop in your professional role to provide quality assistance.

Your task will be to assist the youth both at home and outside. You will accompany them to school and leisure activities. The home is in Hovås every other week and in Majorna the other weeks.

You will support the youth with daily activities where the disability sets limits. You will act as a voice amplifier in communication so that the youth can make themselves understood. You will provide physical support during personal care and activities. Assistance during meals is provided through PEG.

When working with children, a criminal record extract is required by law and must be submitted to the employer before starting employment. You can order the extract according to LSS from the police at the following page:
