Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization that was founded in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a seven-year-old girl with a muscle disease who has just been granted personal assistance. We are now looking for assistants who are genuinely interested in working with children and who have a respectful and warm demeanor. My assistance needs primarily concern the physical aspects, which can sometimes be heavy, so we are looking for someone who is physically fit. I also have significant mucus problems, so it is important to be alert and calm in stressful situations that may arise in connection with this.

I can express what I want, but it is still necessary to be attentive and able to read my body language. Most things we will learn together as my needs, like everyone else's, are individual, but we would prefer you to be a trained nursing assistant or have worked in a similar role, but the most important thing is of course the chemistry between us.

It is important to me that my assistants are cheerful, imaginative, and take their own initiatives so that I can have a fun and meaningful everyday life with people I can rely on.

During the day, I go to school, and my assistants can accompany me there. I would like my assistants to encourage play with my friends while maintaining a low profile in between.

Currently, I am looking for substitutes who can step in and work when my regular assistants need to take time off. The working hours are scheduled both day and evening from Monday to Friday. It is important for me that you speak and understand Swedish well for communication between you and me to function.
