Substitute Teacher at S:t Jörgen Preschool

Innovita School consists of 26 preschools and primary schools created for the needs of the future. Innovita schools are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovita School is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools.

S:t Jörgen Preschool is located in the beautiful nature by S:t Jörgens Park in Hisingen and is a larger preschool with children aged 1-5 years, divided into 10 departments. The preschool has been in existence since 2005 and is located in the same building as Innovita School S:t Jörgen (F-9).

We are a preschool that always works on development and maintains high quality. We work with children's interests, curiosity, and desire to learn, building our pedagogical projects around this. At the preschool, we focus on inspiring and stimulating environments where we have an appealing and permissive atmosphere where children's voices are heard.

We are looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute teacher at our preschool and is available to work every day. We have 10 departments and need substitutes daily.

Experience and education are advantageous but not necessary. The most important thing is that you are curious, have a good value base, and want to learn. You should be flexible, able to take initiative, and last but not least, have a child focus. Having a child focus means, among other things, meeting children at their level, giving them time, being interested in dialogue with them, and ensuring that their days become exciting adventures with equal parts care and learning.

Your tasks include being in the children's group, relieving regular educators with practical tasks, including conducting activities indoors and outdoors, and meeting with guardians. You should be able to take instructions easily and adapt to new situations.

You need to be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish since communication at the preschool occurs in Swedish while you are also expected to participate in the work with children's language development.
