Daily activities are an initiative based on the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons, LSS.

The purpose of daily activities is to offer meaningful employment. The employment is tailored to each person's individual needs, conditions, and wishes. Within the organization for daily activities, there are 13 different operations to meet this need.

We are looking for a support pedagogue for our operations at Forbondegatan's Daily Activities and Fredrikslund's Landeri. You will work as an overarching support pedagogue in collaboration with the operations manager. You will face challenges in the pedagogical work as our groups at Forbondegatan's Daily Activities and Fredrikslund's Landeri differ.

Job Responsibilities

You will work together with the unit manager, operations manager, and support assistants, according to the goals and guidelines that apply to the operation. The work involves developing the content of the operation and introducing a reflective working method that increases the quality for the individual. You will be involved in the daily work, which means providing pedagogical support to both support assistants and our users.

The work also involves implementing, following up, and evaluating methods in the operation and how different interventions lead to goal fulfillment and good quality for the individual. Collaboration internally and externally around the individual is part of the work, which requires good cooperation skills.

Staying informed about news, research findings, and methods that benefit the workplace and having close cooperation with the operations manager is part of the job.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in the field of disabilities and/or social psychiatry, at least 200 vocational college credits or 60 university credits.

You should have experience working with and knowledge about individuals with intellectual and/or mental disabilities. Experience working with individuals with autism or autism-like conditions and clear pedagogical methods is a requirement.

It is important that you have a positive view of people, that you are flexible, secure, and attentive, and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You will receive ongoing professional development in the field.

We also expect you to support the municipality's principles for employees, which include seeing oneself as part of a larger whole for the common mission, focusing on the individual when performing your work, being loyal to the mission and the decisions made, and contributing to the development of the operation.

A driver's license and active driving of a manual transmission vehicle are required.
