Who am I?

I am a girl with a great interest in fashion and interior design - I love lighting candles, making my home nice, and scrolling through Instagram for inspiration. I live with my family in a house, but I have my own separate part of the home that works as my own apartment. Here I feel the best, especially in the company of my cozy dog Valle.

About the job

My epilepsy is difficult to manage and comes in episodes with different types of seizures. Over the years, I have also undergone surgery for my epilepsy. Therefore, I need supervision around the clock and someone by my side who can stay one step ahead, interpret my signals, and act in emergency situations. Additionally, you will of course need to help me with all ADL tasks.

I often wake up early and like to start the day with cozy time on the couch and watching the morning news before it's time for medication, stretching, tactile massage, and exercise. When I have the energy, we like to go shopping or take a trip to Kongahälla Shopping Center. Sometimes we take walks to the sea, other days I just need peace and quiet at home. I love music, and right now it's all about Marcus & Martinus.

An important part of the job is to learn how I communicate. I primarily express myself through body language and facial expressions. The better we get to know each other, the easier it will be to understand my signals.

Who am I looking for?

I am looking for a female assistant who is:

• Calm, empathetic, and responsible
• Non-smoking and non-snuffing (due to scent sensitivity)
• Careful with hygiene and clean work clothes before each shift (due to infection sensitivity)

It’s a plus if you enjoy things like Instagram, music, and movies - but the most important thing is that you are attentive, present, and comfortable following routines. Experience as a personal assistant or training as a nursing assistant is an advantage. You will receive training in epilepsy, but it’s good if you have some prior knowledge. You should also have reasonable physical ability. Since I live with my family, it’s important that you feel comfortable with them being nearby.

It’s easy to reach me by public transport, but having a driver’s license and a car is a plus. Free parking is available nearby.

• Working hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30-16:30

The position is to be filled immediately. An introduction is included before independent work. In addition to the fixed schedule, occasional weekend shifts may occur, e.g., during trips. It may also be good to know that there is a possibility for increased responsibility as a coordinator in the long run.
