The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

We are looking for a support assistant for Limabackavägen 10 located in Väröbacka. The position is awake night.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work closely with people and make a difference in their everyday lives? As a support assistant, you will help create safety, participation, and development for people with disabilities or mental health issues. We are looking for someone who enjoys working awake at night; creating a safe environment, structure, and engagement is central.

As a support assistant, you will provide educational, social, and practical support to individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
  • Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
  • Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other actors
  • Documenting interventions in digital systems according to current routines
  • Working based on a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs

You can work within both functional support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL), in operations such as group homes, service apartments, or supported housing. In all operations, the aim is to promote independence, health, and participation based on the individual's needs. Work hours are scheduled for both daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to create trust and build relationships. You are confident, attentive, and able to adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.

We also expect that you have:

  • High school education in health and care or child and leisure
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

A driver's license may be required depending on the operation.
