The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for three employees for the summer! Do you want to be one of us?

We offer summer positions at 100%, approximately 10 weeks during June-August 2026.

As a social worker in financial assistance, you will play a central role in supporting individuals and families in vulnerable situations. You work closely with people who need help while contributing to a legally secure and sustainable social service.

As a social worker, you will work with authority and ensure that people receive the right support based on their needs. You meet people in various life situations and work to strengthen their conditions and quality of life.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Investigating and assessing needs according to SoL, and making decisions about interventions,
• Following up on decided interventions to ensure they meet the individual's needs,
• Documenting cases according to applicable legislation and regulations,
• Collaborating with other actors such as the Employment Agency, the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and healthcare for coordinated support,
• Providing advice, support, and guidance to clients and, in some cases, their relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone studying to become a social worker or who has a degree in social work.

We would like you to have previous experience working with, or have completed your internship in, financial assistance or authority within social services.

It is an advantage if you have experience with our data system LifeCare.

We place great importance on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills and the ability to structure work are important aspects. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
