Description

Laholm Municipality is looking for a curious and engaged social worker for the Adult Unit.

About the position

The social workers in the unit work together with both harmful use and dependency as well as social psychiatry. Your tasks include investigation work, decision-making, and follow-up of interventions for adults with mental disabilities and/or dependency issues.

The work is based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). You decide on interventions to meet the needs of the individual to manage living a sober/drug-free life as well as interventions within social psychiatry. The interventions can include addiction treatment in outpatient care or in institutions, short-term placements, contact persons, adult support, etc.

Are you the one we are looking for?

The requirements for the position are a degree in social work or other education that the employer can assess as equivalent. Several years of relevant experience in authority operations according to the Social Services Act is a requirement for the position. You should have practical experience working with addiction and its legislation.

It is an advantage if you have training in MI and ASI. It helps if you have good collaboration skills, but we also wish that you feel secure in independent work. You need to enjoy that the day does not always go as planned and appreciate a varied job. You are solution-focused, engaged, and have a sense of security in yourself.

A valid driver's license is required.
