JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a support assistant for a 9-month temporary position.

As a support assistant, you are interested in a developing and versatile job, where we help create and maintain conditions for security, self-determination, quality of life, and joy for our users.

The work involves providing support and service to the residents to contribute to a functioning and stimulating everyday life. The tasks include, for example, service interventions, social support, motivational interventions, and other interventions tailored to each individual's needs and conditions. We work based on a solution-focused approach with the user in focus. We work every other weekend and have on-call duty.

The work also involves documenting, formulating, and following the implementation plan and contributing to a functioning and stimulating everyday life for our users, as well as delegated tasks from the nurse, such as medication delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or preschool teacher.
• has good knowledge of intellectual disabilities, autism, and autism spectrum disorders.
• has experience with individuals with disabilities.
• has basic computer skills and experience with documentation.
• has good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and directly.

We would also like you to have a valid driver's license (B).

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant will become a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title of nursing assistant within care and support.
