Staffing Unit

The Staffing Unit is a support service that provides staffing during absences based on the requests received from the municipality's various operations. We are a central pathway into Laholm Municipality for applicants who want to work as substitutes within the following operations. We offer specialized competence in staffing and the recruitment process to the operations. We are a team that works together to provide good service in our interactions with substitutes and operations.

About the Position

As a Support Assistant, you will work in a group home together with other colleagues in a team. You will follow the individual user's implementation plan and work according to it.

As a personal assistant, you will work according to the approved services for the user. The job involves working in the user's home and supporting the person, helping them with daily tasks such as home life, mobility, care/hygiene, and social contexts. You have a good understanding of what the job entails and feel secure from previous experiences. The work is based on respect and personal suitability. The working hours are varied, but the person has needs around the clock. You will work a lot with care and should feel confident in performing these tasks independently.

Housing support means going to the user's home to provide support and motivation for them to live as independently as possible.

Job tasks will include helping or supporting the execution of personal care and hygiene, social activities, cleaning, and laundry, as well as documenting and reporting relevant events both verbally and in writing to the relevant persons in the work.

The work includes delegated health and medical care tasks.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You must be at least 18 years old. You can express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You must be able to understand instructions in both spoken and written form. To work in personal assistance, a Swedish B driver's license is required in some cases.

It is advantageous to have education in care and support or education in Child and Leisure. It is advantageous to have worked in care and support in previous jobs or have other pedagogical education such as Child and Leisure. It is also advantageous if you have experience in writing and reading in journal systems, such as Lifecare or other systems.
