Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours from Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a social and active person living in central Halmstad. I have a muscle disease that results in reduced strength in my muscles, and therefore I need help with some physical tasks in my daily life. I communicate what I need help with, and you should be attentive to my needs and know when to take a step back. It is important that you can occupy yourself when I do not need your assistance.

In my free time, I meet friends, and since you will be with me wherever I am, it is important that you are social and can blend in. Additionally, I am looking for someone who is self-sufficient and can take their own initiatives.

A driver's license is required as you will be driving my car for work. We have a smoke-free working environment.

The position is a summer temporary job with the possibility to start now as a substitute and continue into the fall. The shifts are mostly overnight shifts with on-call duty at night. You will work about 1-2 shifts per week during the summer.
