Social Worker for Adult Unit – Halmstad Municipality

Your Responsibilities

In the role of social worker in the adult unit, you will work with individuals who have harmful use/dependency issues, often with co-occurring disorders. You will assess needs, make decisions about interventions, and follow up on cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and LVM legislation. The work is varied and involves both authority exercise and close contact with people in different life situations.

You will, among other things:

• Assess and make decisions about interventions based on individual needs.
• Maintain contact with clients, relatives, and partners.
• Document and manage cases in our digital systems.
• Work preventively and contribute to the development of the organization.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or another equivalent education with a requirement for social law.
• Experience working with the target group.
• A good ability to work independently and in a team.
• A valid driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience in assessing and making decisions about interventions.
• Experience in preventive work.
• Familiarity with handling multiple individual cases simultaneously.
