Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 40s living in Halmstad

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• enjoys working in a motivating role in an active environment

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have previous experience with Down Syndrome and/or cognitive variations

• share the client's interests, such as actively attending events and participating in various activities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is “as long as the assistance assignment lasts” with an employment rate of approximately 50%. Working hours are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM, including 7 hours of on-call duty at night. You will work 4-5 shifts per month.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date according to agreement.
