The role of support pedagogue with us

As a support pedagogue, you have a central role in the organization with special responsibility for development, quality, and user focus. You use your advanced pedagogical competence to ensure that the support for each individual is of high quality and is carried out in accordance with applicable implementation plans.

You are a pedagogical role model and act as a mentor for support assistants and support staff in user-related work. In close collaboration with the unit manager, you plan and lead operational meetings, contribute to priorities, and drive systematic quality work forward.

Part of the assignment involves quality assuring social documentation and following up on implementation plans, as well as contributing a holistic perspective through environmental monitoring and development work.

You also participate in the municipality's network for support pedagogues, which meets a few times a year – a forum for exchanging experiences, professional development, and joint quality development. You are also a prioritized target group for receiving support from the area’s method developers.

In this role, you combine development work with direct work alongside users, giving you good insight into daily life and creating the best possible conditions for close, relevant, and sustainable quality work.

Your profile

You are pleasant and attentive in your interactions and find it easy to collaborate with others. You establish new contacts and take care of existing work relationships. You take responsibility for your work, drive it forward, and deliver results. You plan and prioritize your work effectively. You are open to changes, take initiative, and contribute new ideas to the work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a support pedagogue education or equivalent education relevant to the target group.

It is meritorious:

• if you have experience working with the target group.

We offer a permanent full-time position starting by agreement.

Within the administration for Individual & Family Care, all employees within Housing with Special Services and Support at Home are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment level based on the needs of the organization.
