The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people in various stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, young people, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

The LSS housing area 9 currently consists of the municipality's four service apartments. Your employment will belong to one of these, but work at other units may occur.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to combine pedagogy and care to support people towards a more independent life? As a support pedagogue, you are a key person in the work of developing services for people with functional variations or mental health issues. As the current support pedagogue moves on to new challenges, we are looking for someone who wants to contribute with both structure, engagement, and knowledge while making a real difference.

As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the individual and with the quality development of the operation. You provide support to colleagues in the pedagogical work, follow up on services, and contribute to raising the quality of daily support.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Designing, following up, and documenting implementation plans
• Working pedagogically with the individual based on their individual needs
• Being a support for colleagues in methods and approaches
• Contributing to systematic quality work and development in the operation
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other professional actors

You work within LSS or social psychiatry, for example in group housing, service housing, or daily activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for others. You have a pedagogical perspective and the ability to coach both users and colleagues.

We also see that you have:

• Higher vocational education as a support pedagogue or other post-secondary education of at least 200 YH points in the area of disability
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
• A driving license may be required depending on the operation
