About the Position

In the unit for financial assistance, 8 social workers/case managers work with income support, and some positions also include estate management.

A housing team that works with social contracts operates parallel to the unit under the same unit manager. There is a senior social worker for close supervision in daily work.

We are now looking for a social worker to strengthen the workgroup based on new legislation and to have the opportunity to focus even more on individual work towards self-sufficiency. You will join a wonderful workgroup with extensive experience and knowledge! The main task is to investigate and assess applications for financial assistance based on current legislation, case law, and local guidelines. The work involves a high degree of collaboration both internally with other units within the social administration/municipality and externally with other authorities and the region.

As a social worker in financial assistance, you need to be service-oriented, value collaboration to ensure that those we meet receive the support they need, and have a good ability to support individuals through motivational conversations to become self-sufficient and live an independent life as quickly as possible.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You are a social worker or have other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The position requires experience in exercising authority with a focus on financial assistance. Security in documenting and handling cases correctly and according to regulations is required. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to collaborate, both internally and externally.

A driving license (B) is required.
