Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 12-year-old girl living in Kungsbacka

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has experience in similar work

• has experience with low-arousal approaches

• has experience with alternative communication methods

• has a B driver's license

• has access to a personal car

• has a calm and secure personality

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in group homes/part-time housing

• share the client's active interests such as being in the stable, cycling, and swimming

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and one position is awake night at about 55% with hours including 23-08 and 23-09 on certain Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The other position is about 35% with hours including 16-23 on weekdays and 09 or 10-20 on weekends.

Both positions include a fixed schedule, and the hours may differ slightly by half an hour/hour on certain shifts compared to what is stated above.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
