Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Varberg

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• enjoys working in a supportive role

• is active and likes to engage in activities

• is smoke-free

• can work in a home with a dog

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience as a personal assistant or in care and support

• have experience with epilepsy

• have experience with autism

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and good chemistry.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50% with a chance for more. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends.

The hours are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday 4:50 PM - 9:10 PM

Sunday 9:00 AM - 9:10 PM

Every third Saturday 9:00 AM - 9:10 PM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
