JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a support assistant for our LSS group home within area 2. As a support assistant, you are interested in a developing and versatile job, where we help create and maintain conditions for safety, self-determination, quality of life, and joy for our users.

In this recruitment, we are looking for employees with experience in close care work and elderly care.

Your role is to work supportively and motivationally with the user so that they can manage their daily life as independently as possible. This is done with the help of, among other things, clear pedagogical methods, low-arousal responses, and alternative communication. The work also includes personal care, social support, and other interventions tailored to each individual's needs and circumstances.

The job also involves documenting, designing, and following the implementation plan and contributing to a functioning and stimulating everyday life for our users, as well as delegated tasks from the nurse, such as medication delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant.
• has good knowledge of intellectual disabilities, autism, and autism spectrum disorders.
• has experience with people with disabilities and close care work.
• has basic computer skills and experience with documentation.
• has good collaboration skills and the ability to communicate clearly and directly.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected job title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social services.
