You will work in the Adult Unit, which is part of the Department of Social Work, together with caseworkers in substance abuse/dependence and social psychiatry. We are an ambitious and knowledgeable group of employees led by an engaged unit manager and operations manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job responsibilities will mainly consist of regular social investigation work and authority exercise. This means working motivationally, investigating, and making assessments of appropriate assistance, as well as being responsible for the processing of cases for people with disabilities, LSS.
As an LSS caseworker, you will participate in our well-established collaboration with Functional Support, but also with other actors both within and outside the administration. In your daily work, you will have support from colleagues and from the operations manager as well as external supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a person, you work well with others and are accommodating and attentive in your interactions. You create new contacts as well as maintain your current work relationships. You take responsibility and drive your work forward towards goals and deliver results while prioritizing your work effectively. You adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You take your own initiatives and often come up with new approaches to work-related issues.
In the role of social worker, high demands are placed on your ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are professional in your interactions with those around you and skilled at maintaining your relationships.
We are looking for someone who has a degree from the social work program/social care program or another relevant degree equivalent to at least 180 higher education credits as assessed by the employer. A requirement is that you have studied social law. Experience in authority exercise within LSS/SoL is meritorious.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where you should have a professional approach and handle difficult conversations and decisions in a respectful manner. You take responsibility, can work independently, and have good collaboration skills, contributing to the workgroup with your experience and ideas. You are a communicative person who finds it easy to express yourself in speech and writing. Naturally, we also want you to enjoy challenges and problem-solving.
Furthermore, computer literacy and a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language in speech and writing are required.
A driving license (B) is a requirement.
