We are looking for an energetic assistant for our client, an 18-year-old boy in Laholm. We prefer that you, as an applicant, are a team player who works well in pairs, as our client always works in twos.

The daily work consists of helping with what he cannot do by himself, and we are looking for someone who is great at engaging with young people with non-verbal disabilities. The job involves being present for the client, and you will always work in pairs. You should not mind being outdoors in all weather, as he loves walks.

Role and experience of the assistant

We are looking for someone with good physical fitness as some transfers can be heavy, and we welcome both men and women as applicants. He lives independently and needs help with household chores and cooking. You need to be humble, attentive, and enjoy being active. You should have a flexible and creative view of what suitable activities are. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's needs and routines.

Desirable experiences

• Low-arousal approach.
• Enjoy being outdoors in nature.
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Preferably experience with people with disabilities.
• Experience with epilepsy.
• Medication delegation in Laholm municipality.

Working hours/employment rate

• Hourly employment
• Shifts during the day, evening, and night.
