Rolfstorp Preschool is located in the countryside, next to the school and close to nature and green areas.

The preschool is built as two units; Knoppen and Rosen. The youngest children are in the Knoppen unit, while the older ones are in Rosen, and each unit divides the children into smaller groups during parts of the day.

We start from a relational perspective where we, through our teaching together with the children, create the best possible conditions for learning and development for all children. Our goal is to make the most of every moment for learning and development in interaction with others.

Play is our primary tool for learning; it is where experiences and knowledge are processed, and learning constantly occurs. The educators provide an accepting and challenging environment that is changeable and adapted to children's needs and interests. Curious, Creative, Knowledge, and Empathy are guiding principles we carry with us in our daily work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of preschool assistant, you will work to complement and, in some cases, relieve preschool teachers of all tasks.

• You are expected to actively contribute and participate in the work for the entire preschool's development.
• You will help create good learning environments and work together with preschool teachers and other assistants to create the best possible conditions for children's development and learning.
• You should be able to give each child space to learn based on their unique characteristics and meet each child, guardians, and colleagues in interaction, security, and joy.

The work is conducted according to the Education Act and curriculum goals, and we see pedagogical documentation as an important part of following children's learning processes and work systematically to ensure the quality of our education.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education, Child and Leisure Program, or equivalent that the employer deems equivalent.

As a person, you are flexible and contribute with a good attitude, create good learning environments, and develop pedagogical processes, always with the children's best interests in mind.

You are an educator with commitment, ability, and interest in conducting pedagogical conversations and open dialogues with colleagues and guardians based on the preschool's mission. You have a positive view of the role of preschool assistant.

Furthermore, you need to have both experience and a good ability to lead children and child groups with an inclusive and attentive approach. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for the content of the preschool's education and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors.

Experience and knowledge of working with TAKK and NPF are meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on attitude.
