TREATMENT ASSISTANT

Are you a person who radiates warmth and security but can also stand firm when necessary? We are looking for someone who can work on an hourly basis and be available as needed, with the ability to start immediately.

We offer you an important and exciting job where no two days are alike. Together, we help girls aged 15-19 create a safe, responsible, and independent future. Here, you will find commitment and a lack of pretension; we have a strong culture of supporting each other to succeed.

OUR TARGET GROUP

Villa Bergerska is a residential care home that accommodates girls aged 15-19 with various backgrounds and needs, such as those living in unsuitable environments, having committed minor offenses, experimented with drugs, or exhibiting threatening behavior. We can accept girls both under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) at short notice, around the clock.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a treatment assistant, you will be part of a treatment team working with the youth and participating in daily operations according to the organization's routines, ensuring that planned activities are carried out. You will work based on the youth's implementation plans, conduct therapeutic and motivational conversations, and perform documentation tasks.

Collaboration, flexibility, and attentiveness are crucial in this role.

PERSONAL QUALITIES

This job is for you if you have a positive view of people and feel humility in working with youth in difficult situations. You are confident in yourself and have the ability to remain calm even in stressful situations. You need to be a stable person but also be flexible, empathetic, and able to adapt to each girl's needs, which is essential to provide optimal support and guidance.

A knack for motivating and recognizing an individual's strengths is a resource. Being able to work in a structured manner and maintain a professional and solution-focused approach is also important.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have expertise in TMO, CBT, MI, rePULSE, and low-arousal approaches. Being multilingual is always a plus, as well as knowledge about neuropsychiatric disabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

We only seek staff with at least 2 years of post-secondary education in a relevant field such as social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or treatment assistance. Furthermore, you must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. You should have knowledge of the Social Services Act and good documentation skills.

APPLICATION

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Upon hiring, we will request a background check from the police regarding any suspected offenses and criminal records for residential care.

Recruitment is ongoing.

We apply individual salary setting.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Working hours: Day, evening, and on-call shifts distributed on weekdays and weekends.

Welcome with your application!
