JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal assistants are needed for a new and exciting assignment for a 16-year-old boy in Varberg.

We are now looking for engaged and secure personal assistants for a completely new assignment for a 16-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities, who also has significant self-harming behavior.

The assignment is long-term, and you will be part of a larger team where collaboration, structure, and security are the focus.

We are looking for:

• 8 personal assistants for daytime and evening work (double assistance).
• 3-4 personal assistants for awake night shifts.

The work requires that you:

• Follow clear routines and jointly established working methods.
• Be consistent, stable, and have a calm demeanor.
• Work pedagogically and structured with clarity, repetition, and predictability.
• Provide constant supervision and a secure presence.

You will work closely with experienced management and be part of a workgroup with common goals, clear instructions, and good introduction.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible, secure, and has a good ability to stay calm in demanding situations.
• Has an understanding of low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy (preferable but not required).
• Has good collaboration skills and a willingness to contribute to a safe and stable everyday life for the user.
• Has experience in similar work (preferable but not a must).

The user lives just outside Varberg. A driver's license and car are an advantage, but there are also good bus connections.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children. Education is not a requirement, but having nursing assistant qualifications or equivalent education is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You have good care skills and preferably experience working with children with disabilities.

You should have a calm and secure personality with a big heart for other people. You have good collaboration skills and a positive outlook.

Documentation is part of the job. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you are offered a position as a personal assistant, you are required to present a criminal record extract before the employment contract takes effect.

Computer skills and a driver's license are a significant advantage.
