We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant for our client in Onsala as needed with the possibility of fixed shifts on schedule.

Who am I?

A gardening enthusiast man in his 80s with Finnish descent living in Onsala. Due to a stroke, I require personal assistance both during the day and in the evening. I need help with all practical daily tasks and household chores. Indoors, I use a cane, and outdoors, I use a wheelchair or electric wheelchair in the summer. My wife and I live in a house with a small garden, so some light gardening tasks are also included in the job. I have aphasia and therefore communicate through body language and gestures.

A day with me can look different.

Sometimes I enjoy taking a drive, perhaps to a garden center or to submit a betting slip. At home, you may help me with cooking or other household chores. I also spend a lot of time in the garden. In the evening, after dinner, I usually like to watch TV for a while or look at a map book - I enjoy showing the places I have visited around the world.

Who are you?

You should be a calm and attentive person, and if you have a touch of humor, that's a plus. You need a driver's license so we can go on outings in my car (automatic transmission). No animal allergies, as I sometimes have visits from a small dog. Experience in personal assistance or service is good, but not required. If you have Finnish descent, that is an extra plus since both my wife and I speak it as our mother tongue.

About the job:

The position starts as a part-time job as needed with the possibility of fixed shifts on schedule. Working hours are scheduled from 07:30-17:00 and 17:00-22:00 on both weekdays and weekends.

At the interview, you need to show an extract from the criminal record and documentation that proves your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID, or personal certificate with driver's license). If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required.
