The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work closely with people and make a difference in their everyday lives? As a support assistant at Strängvägen, you will help create security, participation, and development for individuals with functional variations or mental health issues. We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied everyday life, where approach, structure, and engagement are central.

As a support assistant, you will provide pedagogical, social, and practical support to individuals with functional variations in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan,
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other actors
• Documenting interventions in digital systems according to applicable routines
• Working based on a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs

You can work within both functional support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL), in operations such as group homes, service housing, or supported living. In all operations, the aim is to promote independence, health, and participation based on individual needs. The work is scheduled for both daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to create trust and build relationships. You are secure, attentive, and have the ability to adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.

We also see that you have:

• High school education in health and care or child and leisure
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Desirable - competence in deafblindness, TAKK (sign language support)

A driving license may be required depending on the operation
