Biomedical Analyst in Internal Medicine on Gotland
In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all walks of life. We make each other better.
Internal Medicine
The island's location requires the resources of a large hospital while also providing the closeness and community of a smaller hospital.
In healthcare on Gotland, close collaborations are built quickly, and decision-making paths are short, creating flexibility for patients and employees. We are the island's largest employer, and with us, you have the opportunity to develop while also advancing healthcare and contributing to making everyday life better for all residents of Gotland.
As a biomedical analyst, you will gain both depth and breadth within your area of expertise, as Visby Hospital, being the only acute hospital on the island, handles all patients.
Your Responsibilities
As a biomedical analyst, you will have a varied and responsible job where you can work broadly within clinical physiology and neurophysiology.
Your tasks include exercise ECG, spirometry, echocardiography, EEG, neurography, abdominal aortic screening, and sleep apnea investigations.
For us, continuous improvement is important, and we invest in the professional development of our employees.
Some training takes place at the physics lab/neurophysiology lab in Stockholm.
Who Are You?
We see that you are a licensed biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology. Experience from clinical practice is an advantage.
You have a positive attitude towards our patients, customers, and other healthcare staff and can explain and assist them with inquiries.
In addition to good computer skills, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and can work independently. Collaboration within the unit and with our customers is important, and we place great emphasis on teamwork.
You have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate clearly with patients and understand method instructions in Swedish.
Before a hiring decision is made, a background check will be conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
