In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all walks of life. We make each other better.
Primary Care/Centers in Hemse and Slite
Within Region Gotland, innovation is a guiding principle. By challenging traditional work structures, we are moving towards good and close care. Region Gotland strives to be a leader in the future of primary care by delivering high-quality and modern care that is accessible to all. At our four health centers, Wisby Söder, Visby Norr, Hemse, and Slite, you will work alongside dedicated staff with an extraordinary team spirit that makes the organization flourish and develop. Making care equally good for everyone, regardless of diagnosis group, is a strong ambition for us. Thanks to a solid foundation of various professions with good community, who are passionate about their mission and support substitute doctors, we provide good care to our listed patients.
At our rural health centers in Hemse and Slite, decision-making paths are short and the atmosphere is familiar. Considering the rural location, many acute visits regarding chest pain and wound injuries are handled. We offer our patients regular doctor appointments, district nurse appointments, and nursing assistant appointments, as well as consultations in diabetes, dementia, heart failure, and/or lifestyle habits, asthma/COPD, incontinence, and spirometry. During the summer period, we also run a tourist clinic.
If you are a licensed physician or have a medical degree and want to work in cutting-edge primary care, you have come to the right place. Working at our rural health centers means a fun, educational, and rewarding workplace surrounded by beautiful scenery with proximity to open landscapes and the sea.
Your Responsibilities
As a licensed physician or someone with a medical degree, you will have close collaboration with all professions at the health center. The position includes regular work with examinations, investigations, assessments, and treatments through both planned and acute visits, as well as work towards special housing (SÄBO) and home healthcare.
We strive for an efficient structure where we take care of our patients based on medical priorities. We work for flexibility and are happy to have a dialogue about your placement and employment rate. If you want to alternate between health centers, we see it as advantageous.
With joy in work and participation, we together create a workplace that makes us the obvious choice for both patients and employees!
