Terra Nova Nursing Home

Terra Nova Nursing Home is a modern and pleasant residence located approximately three kilometers from the center of Visby. There are around 60 places distributed across wards with a focus on somatic care and dementia.

We are an engaged team of assistant nurses, resident assistants, registered nurses, rehabilitation staff, and administrative personnel working together to ensure safe and high-quality care. We are currently in a period of development and transition where our joint focus is on stability, collaboration, and a good working environment where we support each other and contribute to the positive development of the organization.

Now we are looking for a Unit Assistant to join us.

Your Tasks

The work as a Unit Assistant takes place in close collaboration with the unit manager and other colleagues at Terra Nova Nursing Home. The role involves many points of contact and broad cooperation both within the organization and with external actors.

As a Unit Assistant, you will work in several of Region Gotland's internal systems, such as Visma (for accounting and invoice verification), HR systems, Medvind, Office 365, and Treserva. The assignment also includes planning and coordinating logistics for meetings, planning days, and training initiatives, as well as acting as a secretary at meetings. You are also responsible for personnel administrative tasks, such as managing employment contracts.

Furthermore, the role involves generating statistics and reports, handling mail, and processing IT orders. You are also responsible for archiving and structuring the organization's digital folders and groups. The role includes tasks related to coordination, planning, scheduling, and staffing.

You will also collaborate with coordinators and assistants in other units, supporting each other in cases of absence, for example.

Who Are You?

The ideal candidate preferably has an administrative education and previous experience of administrative work, including scheduling, staffing, planning, and logistics. The position requires a B-class driver's license. You have good computer skills and proficiency in the Office package.

In this role, you have many points of contact where you meet residents, relatives, and various professionals. Therefore, you have a professional and service-oriented approach, as well as good communication and pedagogical skills. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you have a good holistic view and work in a structured manner, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying a supportive role towards colleagues and external contacts.

You are goal- and result-oriented with a focus on quality and delivery, and you find it easy to adapt to changing conditions in a flexible daily routine.
