At Region Gotland, you can grow and develop, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all stages of life. We make each other better.
Pjäsen
Pjäsen is a modern and homely care home centrally located in Visby, with a total of 100 apartments distributed across four floors. We are proud of our broad competence and our engaged employees who support each other across our 10 departments. Three of these departments are specialized for residents with dementia. With us, the resident is always at the center, and we work with individual care plans based on our shared values: trust, care, and participation.
As part of our team, you will work nights according to a fixed basic schedule. On occasional occasions, day or evening shifts may also occur in connection with workplace meetings. You are offered a varied and meaningful role where you make a difference – every night.
We are now looking for assistant nurses for the dementia department:
- one assistant nurse for a permanent night position
- one assistant nurse for a temporary night position from 2026-06-01 to 2026-11-30
Your responsibilities
During the night, you are responsible for routine nursing care. Tasks include personal care, such as assistance with hygiene, transfers, and supervision, as well as medication management according to current procedures. You also perform delegated health and medical care tasks (HSL) in close collaboration with nurses.
An important part of your work is to create security, calm, and continuity for our residents during the night hours. You are attentive to individual needs and adapt your working method so that every person feels seen, respected, and well cared for.
You work together with experienced and engaged colleagues where collaboration, responsibility, and care permeate the work. Together you strive for the same goal: to give our residents a safe, calm, and dignified night.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are an educated assistant nurse and meet the requirements to use the protected job title according to current regulations. We prefer that you have experience of nursing care and night work. Experience of working with cognitive/medical disabilities or palliative care is also an asset.
We are looking for you who have a high degree of personal maturity and can work independently with a secure and responsible approach. You are flexible and find it easy to adapt to both the operations' and the users' needs. You contribute to a positive work climate, have pedagogical insight, and can treat users in a clear, respectful, and individualized manner. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and have a holistic view where you always put the elderly person's well-being at the center.
