The Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine (KIT) operational area operates in ten hospitals in Skåne and has over 200 employees. The operation is responsible for laboratory activities within clinical immunology, transfusion medicine, and transplantation immunology, as well as blood donation in Skåne. KIT has a mission to provide healthcare in Region Skåne with high-quality blood components to conduct modern healthcare regarding acute and chronic conditions. The operation is accredited, and some parts of the operation are centralized in Lund. We are organized in processes with a unit manager, medical responsible, and process leaders in close collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a biomedical analyst or nurse to Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine in Ängelholm/Helsingborg!

With us, you will work with blood donor recruitment, blood donation, component production, blood group immunological analyses, and blood dispensing. As a biomedical analyst, you will have the opportunity to combine laboratory work with service-oriented work in blood donation and donor recruitment. The tasks are varied, and there are great opportunities to take on increased responsibility for, for example, a process or an area, thereby expanding your knowledge and experience.

Your working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day with some evening shifts per month, and Saturday shifts may occur in the position. The place of employment is Ängelholm, but there will be some rotation to KIT and blood donation in Helsingborg.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed biomedical analyst or nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. You are interested in working with both blood donors and laboratory work, and we see it as an advantage if you have previously worked in a blood center, blood bus, or similar operations.

Recruiting new blood donors to our operation is of great importance, and we naturally see an interest from you to participate in various events/marketing campaigns and to view the personal meeting with new potential donors as a challenge and a positive part of the job.

As a person, you have both good collaboration skills and communication skills. You are naturally service-oriented towards our blood donors, customers, and your colleagues. The work requires you to be able to work flexibly and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in the workgroup.
