The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne consists of outpatient care, inpatient care, and special teams. The outpatient care is divided into four geographical areas as well as the First Line area, which has units throughout Skåne. The mission of the organization concerns specialized child and adolescent psychiatry for patients up to 18 years old. Within Bup specialist care, the mission is to provide interventions for patients with moderate to severe psychiatric issues.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry area in Helsingborg/Ängelholm/Landskrona provides outpatient care in the form of clinics and intermediate care, which includes family day care and infant services. The size of the three clinics is proportional to their respective catchment areas, where Helsingborg is the largest, Ängelholm the middle-sized, and Landskrona the smallest clinic. The area collaborates with eight other municipalities; Båstad, Klippan, Åstorp, Örkelljunga, Bjuv, Höganäs, and Svalöv, as well as Malmö where inpatient care is located.

Bup in Skåne is an accredited university healthcare unit, which means close collaboration with the medical faculty at Lund University regarding both research and education. We value interest and experience in research and education when filling our positions.

At Bup in Ängelholm, we are organized into two general psychiatric clinic teams. The assessment and treatment work within the organization is conducted in a transdisciplinary team characterized by close collaboration between different professional groups. We offer introduction/training and good supervision opportunities. In our work, we take advantage of the breadth of knowledge and experience we collectively possess. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming a temporary nursing colleague to Bup in Ängelholm!

As a nurse, you will work in a team together with a social worker, occupational therapist, medical secretary, psychologist, and doctor. You will perform somatic assessments and treatment of children and adolescents and their parents together with the rest of the team. As a nurse, you will conduct independent medication follow-ups in close collaboration with doctors. The work also includes providing group treatments, answering the advice phone, collaborating with care neighbors at SIP meetings, and conducting assessment interviews. The treatment work will be based on your level of competence and educational profile.

Our clinic is characterized by a good atmosphere and staff with high competence. We care about a good work environment and continuously work on development. Within Bup, there is currently work underway to develop the role of the nurse, and we hope you want to contribute to this effort. Supervision together with others in the team is included.

The position is a temporary employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement. If you have specialist training in psychiatry or child and adolescent medicine, or other relevant specialist competence for the position, this is meritorious. We would also like you to have previous experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and/or other work with children and adolescents. Additionally, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of Melior.

Since you will be working in a team with other professionals at the clinic, very good collaboration skills are a prerequisite. Part of the work also requires independence, and therefore you need to be responsible, have a strong commitment, and both enjoy and have experience with independent work. To thrive in the role, you need to be able to handle stressful situations professionally. We see it as a given that you have a good demeanor and place great importance on personal suitability.
