About the workplace

We are a total of 22 physiotherapists working in the care and social services administration's 19 nursing homes and short-term unit.

Job responsibilities

As a physiotherapist with us, you have overall rehabilitation responsibility together with the occupational therapist. You are responsible for assessment, training, evaluation, and follow-up regarding the musculoskeletal system and respiratory function. You are also responsible for the assessment, trial, and follow-up of technical aids based on the physiotherapist's prescription rights. You set goals for the physiotherapeutic measures together with the individual and the team, where the goal is to enable the individual to live as independently as possible. We work with quality registers such as Senior Alert and BPSD.

The work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff and tenants regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with good knowledge of current legislation, such as HSL and SoL. You need to have good computer skills and documentation habits.

It is advantageous to have previously worked in municipal primary care. We see it as a positive that you have good knowledge of Lifecare and are comfortable with the prescription process.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Other information

As an employee, you have a manager. You will have a primary placement in one of our units but are employed within the area of operations. It is always the patient's needs that guide, which may mean that you work both overall and in other units when a need arises.
