Nurse for Special Housing for the Elderly in Lund

Lund Municipality operates 15 special housing facilities for the elderly.

The facilities are geographically located throughout the municipality, housing individuals who require service and care around the clock. At the facility on Brunnsgatan 11, 30 individuals reside. The facility also has 10 places for respite care. We are now looking for a colleague for a varied and developing role where person-centered care, safety, and continuity are the focus.

About the Role and Your Responsibilities

In our organization, the role of the nurse offers great independence and variety, with significant responsibility and real opportunities to influence the content of care. One of our strengths is respite care, which creates a varied workday where you meet both residents with long-term care needs and individuals who stay with us for shorter periods. You will utilize your full competence and work with complex care situations focusing on quality and individual needs. The work is characterized by close collaboration between nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation staff, and managers.

Our operations are marked by clear structure, good order, and well-functioning routines, providing you as a nurse with a safe and stable work environment. We Are Looking for You

who is a licensed nurse. If you are specialized in elderly care, that is an advantage, as is experience in elderly care and dementia care. You have a solution-focused approach with a good ability to work in a team as well as independently. Good computer skills and the ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish are required. A driver's license for a passenger car is required.

About the Workplace

At the facility located centrally in Lund on Brunnsgatan 11, we have three nurses in basic staffing, which creates good conditions for a sustainable work environment. Nearby, there are two other facilities with which we have close cooperation. We take pride in our strong teamwork and our great commitment to the residents. Despite complex care needs, we create safety and high quality in care through our combined experience. With us, there is an open climate where you can trust each other, ask for help, and feel secure in your work. The role also offers opportunities for both independence and professional development.

We work during the day with shifts every 8th weekend. During weekend shifts, we work in weekend cooperation, which means you may also receive assignments in home healthcare, short-term care, and LSS. During weekend cooperation, we start from the HSL office at Stora Södergatan 49.
