Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place in elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to make a difference in people's everyday lives and work in a meaningful and developing role within elderly care and care for individuals with cognitive diseases?

Ystad Municipality is now looking for dedicated nursing assistants for home care. At Bellahöjden, which provides home care in Ystad urban area, you will contribute to security, independence, and quality of life for our clients in their own homes. The Bellahöjden team works based on individual needs and close collaboration, where you make a concrete and valuable contribution for individuals with cognitive diseases.

As a Nursing Assistant in home care, you provide care and support to clients according to assistance decisions and individual implementation plans.

Job responsibilities include:

• Care and personal hygiene.
• Social support and companionship.
• Medication management.
• Cleaning and laundry tasks.
• Accompanying to activities outside the home.
• Other tasks that contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life.

The positions are 100% day or evening shifts. Resource shifts may occur in the schedule, meaning that you may work in other units in the municipality as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who;

• Is a trained nursing assistant and can provide proof of protected professional title as well as approved grades/diplomas from health and care education.
• Has a good command of Swedish in speech and writing (at least passed basic Swedish from compulsory school grade 9 or SFI D).
• Has good cycling skills.

Experience in home care and working with cognitive diseases is an advantage.
