The position is a shared role between the NIP unit and the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for Psychosis in Trelleborg. The NIP unit is a multidisciplinary team consisting of both outpatient and inpatient departments, located on Påskliljegatan in Malmö, close to Hyllie station with good commuting opportunities. Our mission is to provide early and coordinated care to individuals who have, or are suspected to have, psychotic symptoms for the first time in their lives. The work is conducted according to national guidelines with a clear family and network focus, where relatives are involved early in the care process.

At the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for Psychosis in Trelleborg, we assess, investigate, and diagnose conditions with psychotic symptoms and treat individuals with diagnosed psychotic disorders. We work according to the FACT method (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment), which means high flexibility and availability where a large part of the treatment occurs in the patient's home environment. We have a well-established collaboration with our municipalities and healthcare partners, as well as highly engaged staff who work with patients from a holistic perspective.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome an occupational therapist to join us at the NIP unit in Malmö and the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for Psychosis in Trelleborg.

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have very varied tasks. You will be responsible for assessing, supporting, and following up on the patient's activity ability to promote independence, recovery, and participation.

Your tasks include functional assessments, mapping, and evaluation of cognitive functions and support needs. In your work, you will use relevant occupational therapy instruments and work to strengthen the individual's skills both socially and cognitively. In your role, you will collaborate with the rest of the team and external actors.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at a minimum of level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Experience working in specialist psychiatry is desirable.
