With us, the patients are relatively young and have widely varying socioeconomic conditions, but we also strive to invest in our older and most vulnerable patients through our Mobile Primary Care Team, our elderly reception, and our resource team.

Vårdcentralen Eden consists of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, nursing assistants, secretaries, and administrators. We are constantly working to develop interdisciplinary collaboration, and we always have an internal consulting physician available for questions, but primary care still places high demands on your ability to drive your collaboration forward and work independently.

The health center is located near Möllevångstorget, and there are very good transport links by train and buses if you commute, and there is also the opportunity to visit some of the nice lunch restaurants nearby.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse at Vårdcentralen Eden, you will run your own clinic where advanced wound dressings, skin assessments, and prescriptions are common. Furthermore, you will work interdisciplinary by being part of our minor emergency clinic, working with our elderly through our direct phone line for patients over 75 years old, and as a member of our interdisciplinary resource team aimed at working with patients who need extra support regardless of age. The minor emergency clinic is a nurse-led appointment-based emergency service, with physician support as needed. Additionally, you will triage patients via phone a smaller part of the time. We strive for variation in work for everyone!

We see it as a given that you enjoy mentoring both students and colleagues. As a newcomer with us, you will be offered an introduction that we plan based on your current level of competence. You will have the opportunity to shadow for your own work tasks and to observe other professions for a deeper insight into what primary care entails.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and we place great importance on participation in scheduling so that you can make your life puzzle fit, but it is desirable that your schedule includes one to two shifts a week until 17:00.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse with permission to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement for the position. Having worked as a district nurse is an advantage, especially if you have experience working in a health center.

Working in Primary Care means you need to know a little about a lot and become a specialist in being a generalist and be comfortable with that. Therefore, we are looking for someone who sees change as an opportunity and enjoys contributing to interdisciplinary collaboration. Humility and the ability to laugh together are important factors for our shared work environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
