At our rural health centers in Hemse and Slite, decision-making paths are short and the atmosphere is familiar. Considering the rural location, many acute visits are handled regarding, among other things, chest pain and wounds. We offer our patients, among other things, regular doctor appointments, district nurse appointments, and nursing assistant appointments, as well as clinics for diabetes, dementia, heart failure and/or lifestyle habits, asthma/COPD, incontinence, and spirometry. During the summer period, we also run a tourist clinic.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse/district nurse, you will work with telephone advice, outpatient work that includes wound dressings, vaccinations, assessment, and triage of acute patients.

You will work closely with doctors, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, rehabilitation coordinators, and conversation therapists.

We work for flexibility and are happy to have a dialogue about how much you want and can work.

Who Are You?

You are a licensed nurse or district nurse. If you have any special interests, we would love to know about them. Swedish language skills equivalent to C1 are a requirement.

You strive to establish credibility, trust, and influence with patients and colleagues. You convey information clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing.

Before hiring decisions are made, a background check is conducted through an extract from the criminal record.
