Laboratory Medicine Gävleborg

Laboratory Medicine Gävleborg is Region Gävleborg's competence organization for the diagnostics of patient samples. Our goal is to be the natural partner regarding knowledge and needs for diagnostics. Clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine in Southern Hälsingland is an accredited unit where we perform sampling, blood donation, and provide laboratory services as well as medical expertise.

Our operations aim to

• offer high-quality analyses and decision support to healthcare
• meet the healthcare's need for blood components
• collaborate with other healthcare providers for improved patient flows.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for laboratory staff for summer positions at clinical chemistry in Southern Hälsingland - Bollnäs and Söderhamn.

• handling of samples
• analytical work
• sampling.

The tasks will be adjusted based on your qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is desirable that you possess social competence, that you are kind and a good communicator. You appreciate working and collaborating with others. You have the ability to meet people with a service-oriented approach in a professional and empathetic manner. You have a good ability to work independently.

In the role of laboratory staff with us, you should

• be a licensed biomedical analyst or a student in the biomedical analyst program, or have relevant experience/education for the profession
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as the tasks involve communication with patients and colleagues

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in sampling and/or laboratory work.
