RESPONSIBILITIES

Gävle Municipality has gathered all licensed personnel within one office, the Health and Medical Care office. We are now looking for a temporary physiotherapist while our regular colleague is on parental leave.

In your role as a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapeutic treatments for patients with various needs. You will work preventively, as well as with rehabilitative, habilitative, and compensatory measures within home care and in care and nursing homes.

As a physiotherapist, you will collaborate and be part of a team around the care recipient together with other positions, such as occupational therapist, nurse, and other professional care staff. You will guide, instruct, and provide training to other staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. A driver's license and driving experience are required for the position.

We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills and the ability to plan and organize your work. The work as a physiotherapist is varied, which requires you to adapt your perspective and approach to changing circumstances and to implement given guidelines from decisions into action. You should work with a holistic view of the patient and have a genuine empathy towards our patients.

To succeed in your role, you have a positive attitude towards working in a team with other positions within the care team, where you contribute your own ideas and arguments. Understanding other people's life situations is natural for you as you instill confidence, create trust, and reliability. We will offer mentorship and guidance to ensure your success in your role with us.
