The psychiatric reception is responsible for conducting interventions in the open psychiatric specialist care that promote health and increase quality of life. The operation actively works to provide a good reception, have high accessibility, and show good results. Northern Hälsingland has a joint reception in Hudiksvall that provides specialist psychiatric interventions. To be more accessible and better meet patients with long-term and low functional levels, such as psychotic problems, we also have branches in Bergsjö and Ljusdal.

The reception is staffed with a spread of competencies from both PTP psychologists and psychologists with many years of specialist psychiatric experience. The workplace has competencies in CBT, KPT, and PDT and provides supervision based on both method and assignment. The reception also has a DBT team, ERGT competence, and therapy competence in trauma treatment such as EMDR and Prolonged Exposure. Psychotherapy is offered both in groups and individually.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in a team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, caregivers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The work is done in collaboration with other units such as departments, emergency teams, and SPOT, as well as in close cooperation with other public services. You will also participate in the development work of the operation.

As a psychologist, your tasks will be varied and you will mainly work with:

• diagnostics
• assessments
• psychological/psychotherapeutic treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a forward-thinking and committed person who thrives in close collaboration with all the professions at the reception in a varied everyday life. You are interested in development and improvement work and are confident in your professional role, and you have the ability to meet people in a professional and empathetic manner. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and collaboration skills.

In the role of psychologist, you must:

• be a licensed psychologist.

We would also like you to have experience in specialist psychiatry and structured diagnostics as well as neuropsychiatric competence. It is also an advantage if you have a license as a psychotherapist.
