The Emergency Department in Gävle is ready to receive patients with acute conditions regardless of illness, 24/7, all year round. We currently have about 120 employees who together create safe and efficient care for our patients. Here you will encounter a dynamic work environment where you will work with acute conditions in medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and psychiatry. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in the emergency department, you will have a varied and developing job where you meet patients with different needs and diagnoses - every day is unique. You will collaborate closely with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals.

As a nurse, you will work with:

• performing quick assessments and prioritizations in acute situations
• making independent decisions and providing safe care.

We are looking for someone with an interest in emergency care who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks. You have good collaboration skills, can structure your work well, and are confident in your professional role.

In the role of nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse.

Previous experience in emergency care is an advantage.
