At the physiological laboratory in Hudiksvall, biomedical analysts, nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants work together. The physiological laboratory is part of the heart unit at Hudiksvall Hospital, and we collaborate based on three operational goals:
- Our patients should receive care in a timely manner.
- Our working methods should be modern and efficient.
- Our staff should enjoy their work.
Now, as a colleague moves on to new challenges, we are looking for a new team member. We are a friendly group open to development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We perform spirometry, EEG, long-term ECG, echocardiograms, exercise tests, and also have C-PAP and pacemaker clinics. We are also engaged in a development project in collaboration with radiology regarding vascular examinations.
As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work with:
- performing exercise tests
- echocardiograms
- long-term ECG
- long-term blood pressure monitoring
- Holter ECG
- spirometry
- EEG
- being part of the startup of collaboration with radiology regarding vascular ultrasound.

If you are a newly graduated biomedical analyst, you have the opportunity to receive a salary supplement with us, for up to 24 months from the start of your employment.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a team. You should have an interest in development, innovation, and be positive and flexible.
In the role of biomedical analyst, you should:
- be a licensed biomedical analyst with a focus on clinical physiology or a licensed biomedical analyst with at least one year of experience working in clinical physiology with the examinations described above
- have competence and experience in heart echocardiography or be willing to learn this.
