Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

Your Mission

With us, you will work closely with all professions at the health center and in teams. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as supervision of BT/AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the work, you will be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thus allowing you to influence your work environment. Some on-call duty is also included, as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is advantageous if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams around patients with other professionals to achieve efficient flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Skutskär Health Center is located a five-minute walk from the train station, making it easy to commute from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (90 km). All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission. Here, all professions work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can become part of our team!

Together, we have 9,000 listed patients, and we are 42 employees offering most services in primary care, including well-functioning nurse-led clinics.
