At the specialist medical clinic, we meet patients with a wide variety of diseases every day. We offer consultations and treatments in several specialist areas such as oncology, rheumatology, neurology, hematology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, stroke, and general medicine. We also have nurse-led clinics in diabetes, rheumatology, neurology, stroke, and anticoagulation. Together, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work to provide high-quality care.

We are now looking for two nurses for the specialist clinic in Söderhamn. Come and make a difference with us!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you will rotate through several of the unit's clinics, giving you a varied and exciting everyday life. You will collaborate closely with other professionals at the clinic. The role includes handling referrals, booking patients, and working in Min vård Gävleborg where you receive and manage cases digitally.

Your main responsibilities include

• booking appointments for doctors within the specialist clinic's operations
• telephone advice and clinic work
• sample collection and monitoring of test results
• performing treatments on behalf of other clinics
• assisting doctors during various examinations.

We would like you to, based on your experience and interest, work certain shifts or one weekend per month in one of Region Gävleborg's 24/7 operations. This gives you the opportunity to broaden your skills and create valuable collaborations that strengthen both you and the team.

For this role, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are attentive and communicative. You are calm and accommodating in your approach and have the will and interest to help others. Furthermore, we see that you are self-sufficient and flexible in your work and can plan, structure, and prioritize your tasks effectively.

For this role, you must be

• a licensed nurse.

It is advantageous if you have experience in clinic work and we would like you to have an interest in diabetes care.
