Adult Psychiatry Inpatient Care

The adult psychiatry inpatient care consists of various departments and offers specialist psychiatric care around the clock for patients with severe psychiatric conditions. The department has 20 beds and cares for patients with different diagnoses in a dynamic environment where much happens. We are a strong team with several experienced nurses, so we can confidently welcome both those with extensive experience and those stepping into their first role as a nurse.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in adult psychiatry inpatient care, you are a key person in the multidisciplinary team. You will have a varied and educational everyday life where you collaborate with other professionals as well as the patient and their relatives. We have a permanent doctor on site, which ensures continuity and quality in care. There is also an established SPOT team for quick and effective intervention when needed, and we have a good collaboration with outpatient care, creating smooth care flows. • assessment of care needs and treatment
• medication management and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in psychiatric care and people's recovery. You are engaged, collaborative, and want to create a care environment where the patient is at the center. You have an empathetic ability and can understand someone else's situation, and you are attentive in your interactions with others. You are calm and stable and view situations realistically with a focus on the right things. You plan and structure your work effectively and take responsibility for your tasks.

In the role of a nurse, you must:

• be a licensed nurse.

For this position, it is an advantage if you have specialized training in psychiatric care or previous experience working in psychiatric care.
