At the general psychiatric clinic, psychologists, nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, social workers, doctors, and medical secretaries work together. The clinic is responsible for specialist-level interventions for psychiatric conditions such as affective disorders, personality disorders, and anxiety disorders. We work in multiprofessional teams where we know that care improves when we collaborate. Cooperation also occurs with our inpatient care and emergency services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will work independently, broadly, and variably with different tasks. You will be part of a smaller team with nursing colleagues and doctors. In collaboration with colleagues and in consultation with the patient, you will assess the individual patient's needs for support, care, and treatment. The treatment methods are evidence-based, and you will follow patients during medication initiation and throughout treatment. As part of your role, you may also hold appreciated information sessions for groups of patients, known as psychoeducational interventions (PPI), which the clinic offers primarily to bipolar patients.

As a nurse with us, you will work with:

• monitoring medication initiation with some dose adjustments
• motivational interviewing and suicide prevention conversations

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for our patients and is interested in psychiatry. This requires a good empathetic ability but also a drive to collaborate with others based on the patient's needs. Therefore, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In the role of nurse, you must:

• be a licensed nurse.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have specialist competence in psychiatry.
