Viljan Säviq Women’s Treatment is a Home for Care and Accommodation (HVB) that offers qualified treatment for women aged 23 to 75 with issues related to addiction/dependency, criminality, and comorbidity. With 24 places, we work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the basis for our treatment efforts. The treatment home is located on the outskirts of Söderhamn, and clients can bring their pets!

About the Role of Nurse

We are looking for a licensed nurse with professional experience and an interest in treatment work and women-specific issues.

You enjoy guiding and delegating health and medical tasks to staff and are motivated to work with the Treatment Team to create high-quality care and treatment for those who stay with us. The Treatment Team consists of nurses, doctors, psychologists, therapists, treatment assistants, social educators, coordinators, managers, and deputy managers.

As a nurse in the organization, you will have a varied job with diverse tasks where you work individually based on varying health conditions, mental health issues, and diagnostic problems. In your work, you aim to improve the quality of life for our clients on a daily basis while also making assessments and decisions about actions in acute situations. Your role is significant, and your expertise is highly valued.

There is only one nurse in the organization, which requires you to be confident in your role through previous work experience to work independently. The organization collaborates with nearby treatment homes where nurses maintain continuous contact, cover for each other during absences, and have the opportunity for collegial support in their professional practice.

Qualifications

You are relationship-oriented and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and relate to others in a responsive manner. You enjoy working independently, are a humble and responsible person with the ability to see individual needs.
